Red Sky Bar

Location: Radisson Red Glasgow, 25 Tunnel Street, Finnieston Quay, Glasgow, G3 8HL
You will not find a better view at a bar in Glasgow than the one at the Red Sky Bar in the Radisson Red hotel. The interior is admirable with its very modern marble and copper theme. Although the drinks in here can be expensive, this bar is definitely worth a visit and is a perfect way to make your date feel spoiled. I suggest that prior to your date, you search up what time sunsets at that time of year and then plan to arrive for just before that time. This way, you will get a view of the sunsetting on the Scottish Event Campus, followed by a view of the night sky being lit up by The SSE Hydro.

Bar Soba

Location: 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow, G1 3NU
The great thing about this bar is that it’s small so it always has a great atmosphere every night of the week. You will get served in this bar quickly meaning you can get back to your date quickly when it’s your round. A list of cocktail recommendations for you and your date to try; Chocolate Orange Espresso Martini, Jangshi Zombie and Drumstick Caipirovska. If at some point you fancy something to eat, Bar Soba is also a restaurant that serves Asian street food. If you can’t find a table for drinks, ask a member of staff if there are any spare tables.

The Social

Location: 27 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow, G1 3AJ
Right in the City Centre, The Social is one of the best bars in Glasgow. This bar is suitable for any age group and has lots of seating. There are even seats outside that look onto Royal Exchange Square – perfect for summertime drinking. Some of the best cocktails in the city are served here. The DJ kicks off every Saturday at 9pm with the best remixes of songs – don’t be surprised if you and your date are up dancing in the later hours.



The Gardener 

Location: 24 Ashton Lane, Glasgow, G12 8SJ
Ashton Lane is full of great bars for some drinks but one of my favourites has to be The Gardener. Here you will find great service, lovely drinks and gorgeous surroundings – the ideal setting for an outing with your partner. If you both fancy heading to Ashton Lane, be sure to try out this bar. Ashton Lane has so many great places so be sure to head to the next bar after trying out this one.

La Lanterna  Location: 35 Hope Street, Glasgow, G2 6AE Located right behind Glasgow Central, La Lanterna is an Italian restaurant that is perfect a romantic dinner with your other half. The restaurant itself is quite small inside but this adds to the romantic feel. The pasta here is fantastic! I would recommend ordering a pasta dish, but the menu has lots of other great dishes, such as risotto and pizza.
