La Lanterna 

Location: 35 Hope Street, Glasgow, G2 6AE
Located right behind Glasgow Central, La Lanterna is an Italian restaurant that is perfect a romantic dinner with your other half. The restaurant itself is quite small inside but this adds to the romantic feel. The pasta here is fantastic! I would recommend ordering a pasta dish, but the menu has lots of other great dishes, such as risotto and pizza. Make sure to book your dinner here as the place is always busy or fully booked – especially around Christmas time!

La Vita Spuntini

Location: 40 Gordon Street, Glasgow, G1 3PU
Spuntini is an Italian take on tapas with a large selection of dishes to choose from. To order the equivalent of one course, you should order 3-4 small dishes. If you cannot decide from the many options, I recommend that you order 7-8 dishes you both love and this way you can get a taste of everything! If tapas is not for you and/or your partner, Spuntini also offers classic mains. Near the bar is a big pink blossom tree – a perfect setting for cocktails and Instagram pictures! 

Miller & Carter 

Location: 47 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5QX
For those that love steaks, Miller & Carter is perfect for a romantic date night. The building used to be a bank and so the interior of the restaurant is stunning and like no other - the toilets are inside a bank vault! Every Thursday evening Miller & Carter offer 3 courses from £25.95 as part of their Date Night Menu. This offer is the perfect excuse to enjoy high quality food with that someone special.

Arta 

Location: 2 Albion Street, Merchant City, Glasgow, G1 1PA
Lastly, we have Arta. If you and your date enjoy Mediterranean tapas then here is perfect for you. Just like La Vita Spuntini, you should get a bunch of dishes and share them with your partner – it really is the best way! I would also recommend ordering a paella.
